The Client Service Associate enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service, supporting firm functions as needed, assisting in safeguarding client assets, and serving as administrative and operational support to registered investment advisors. The Client Service Associate is responsible for understanding the firm's policies and procedures, developing leadership skills, and monitoring client requests. Other responsibilities include:
Core Leadership
- Oversee client onboarding, including account opening and closing procedures and review related documents.
- Work with Advisors to lead relationship management, client service and sales activities.
- Assist with preparation of client meeting materials. Create custom reports proactively and as requested.
Client Investments
- Implementing investment objectives, rebalancing accounts, executing trades, monitoring asset allocation and investment performance, and overseeing investment transition.
- Leading liaison for the firms’ banking relationships.
- Monitor daily internal reports and notices and work with account team to resolve any issues.
- Prepare asset allocation models.
- Execute business processes of custodians like Pershing & Interactive Brokers.
Leadership of Client & Firm Performance
- Prepare and distribute recurring & ad hoc performance reports.
- Develop portfolio review and prospecting meeting materials.
- Routine client service requirements such as wire transfers, required distributions, subscription documents, redemption notices, etc.

- Expert – Client service and communication
- Expert – Meticulous, efficient multi-tasker, and ability to adapt in complex environments
- Expert – MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Highly Skilled – Customer Relationship Management and Custodian Services
- Highly Skilled – Marketing
- Series 7, 66 or 65 preferred
